Geostatic has been consistently evolving as an artist this year, with multiple releases under his belt and gigs that have taken to several different countries. A key figure in the early stages of Transparent Audio, Geostatic has cemented his reputation for delivering deep, minimal drum and bass. Known for his sonic precision, stripped-back drums, rolling basslines, and melancholic undertones, the Austria-based artist is leaving a mark on the scene, creating music that resonates on the dancefloor and in playlists worldwide.
Geostatic’s journey into drum and bass began in 2012 when he attended the Urban Art Forms Festival in Graz and discovered the sounds of Camo & Krooked, Phace & Misanthrop, and Alix Perez. That experience sparked a deep admiration for the 170 BPM spectrum, setting him on a path of artistic discovery. By 2015, he began acquiring his skills as a DJ, and in 2016, he transitioned into production, further refining his craft.
Since then, Geostatic has performed at many different Clubs and festivals like Void Club, Mauerpfeifer, Motion Bristol, various Grazer Spielstätten Outlook Festival, Springfestival Graz and more. All this while building an impressive discography with releases on top-tier labels such as Transparent Audio, Dispatch Recordings, Program, Delta 9 Recordings, Incurzion Audio, EKOU Recordings, and many more. As one of the upcoming forces in the Austrian drum and bass scene, Geostatic shows no signs of slowing down, continually pushing boundaries and delivering music that defines the genre’s deep and minimal spectrum.
